This is our address.  It is not as simple as going to the address. Some GPS systems take you to the Eastern Avenue entrance and some take you to Fait Avenue. See below the map for directions to our building (and a story) once you enter the Industrial Complex from Fait Avenue.

There is a sign at the entrance that says 4401 Eastern Ave. but it also says No Trespassing. YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE! Look both ways and cross the train tracks. Once you enter the gate to Crown Industrial Complex, make the first right and you should come to Building 45.

At Building 45 , make a left and head through the pillars.

In 1906, Building 45 was the first building of many to be constructed here where William Painter, founder of Crown Cork & Seal started manufacturing, the “Crown” bottle cap that we still use to this day. Crown claims to manufacture one out of every five beverage cans used in the world, and one out of every three food cans used in North America and Europe.

Once through the pillars, you can park your motorcycle or car in the indoor parking to the left or bring your bike down the Building 53 alley into the shop.

Building 53 was built in the 1930’s during Crown’s expansion. By that time, Crown was selling half of the world’s supply of bottle caps. Look up after you park. The gantry over head spans 60 feet and used to travel the length of the 100 yard building back in Crown’s hay-day.
